Dining Out

Ryan DuVall, restaurant critic for The Journal Gazette, was a "foodie" long before joining The Journal Gazette in 1999. His column is published Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays in The Journal Gazette and on journalgazette.net. With the newspaper since 1982, Gray has also been a reporter, assistant metro editor and business editor.

The Dirt

Anne Gregory chose her Fort Wayne home in large part because it overlooks a swath of green boulevard and has a lot and a half to putter in. Not a fan of mowing, she's gradually adding more perennial beds and bird-friendly plantings. The Dirt, which publishes every other Sunday, is an extension of her chats with fellow amateur gardeners.

Greg Jones

Greg Jones has been covering high school sports for The Journal Gazette since 1999. He appreciates the passion and desire of high school athletes, who play because of their love of the game and not the lure of a paycheck. As the JG's high school sports editor, Jones has plenty of opportunity to find good stories in the 50 Northeast Indiana high schools the newspaper covers.

Road Sage

Road Sage was developed to answer reader questions about traffic, driving delimmas and construction conundrums.
